Seals rear axle shaft where it enters transmission. Keeps oil in transmission and water out of transmission.
Original carbon type release bearing.
Goes between differential housing side plate and transmission case.
Seals the water transmission side of base plate 2-15-12.
Two needed. Fit on sides of water transmission under rear seat. If these are worn out, the transmission will bounce up and down under the rear seat and rear wheel drive shafts may hit the metal tunnel. Also, the fan blades may hit the radiator shroud.
The other special Amphicar bearing, this one fits on front of pinion shaft. It has large ball bearings which fit into brass races. Very scarce, possibly more than 2-16-11.
One of two special pinion shaft bearings made only for Amphicar. This one fits on rear of pinion main shaft where shaft goes on ring gear. This bearing is not manufactured and the remaining supply is very limited.
Seals drive shaft at clutch end of transmission housing. This black seal has a long neck, which reaches about a fourth of an inch farther down the shaft than an ordinary seal. The seal prevents hypoid oil from leaking out on clutch
Locks above bearing in transmission case.
Goes on middle of drive shaft 2-16-01, half way between water transmission and clutch.
1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gear cluster gears ride on this bearing set on the land transmission main shaft. Set of 4 bearings, sleeves, and spacers.
For water transmission intermediate gears. Two individual bearings.
